Another Book Cover

Image
For this week’s Project Quilting Challenge I made another book cover.    The theme this week is Silhouettes.    I know a girl that plays softball for Georgetown University.    I took a picture of her batting and created a silhouette.    Of course it is a gift for her mother. The Front.     The Back.  The Inside. I am doing the happy dance as my Photoshop skills have improved and I was successful at making the silhouette.  Here is the original photo. Hope your day is going well.  Nancy

Using Up Scraps

Season 13 has kicked off for Project Quilting .  This week's challenge  is called "All the Colors!".  The challenge is to use 5 or more colors in a project.  Project Quilting is a take off of Project Runway - you get a challenge and one week to design, create and finish a project. My completed project is a cover for a composition notebook.   The Front. The Back. Inside the front cover. Journal covers are a fun way to use up some scraps and play with all kinds of trims.
